Anybody that knows me, knows I’m a huge fan of Zombies. I mean come on…who isn’t? Movies, video games and awesome comic titles like the Walking Dead seem to be all over the place these days. Zombies are the new vampire! Up Yours Tom Cruise! Wading through the hoards of zombie fiction can be tough, since it infects every facet of the media out there today-pun intended, but, this one is actually a true gem. By the way, if you haven’t read Walking Dead you must be living under a rock in some country I can’t spell. Anyway…

Mario Puzo Convinces Us to Spend Our Rent on a Book

Taschen’s new “The Godfather Family Album” book is out, and the good news is it only costs $700. The 444 page book features hundreds of previously unseen photographs by Steve Schapiro, but the real value comes in commentary from novel and screenplay author Mario Puzo. Hit this Daily Mail link to read stories from Puzo about the time he wrote the book as a cynical exercise in selling out, getting screamed at by Frank Sinatra in a crowded restaurant, and thinking that Pacino was wrong for the part of Michael:

Pacino was too short, too Italian-looking. He was supposed to be the American in the family. He had to look a little classy, a little Ivy League. Coppola kept saying a good actor is a good actor. Pacino tested. He didn’t know his lines. He threw in his own words. He didn’t understand the character at all. He was terrible. Jimmy Caan had done it ten times better.

Actor/Hooligan Vinnie Jones Arrested In Bar Fight

This move still legal

So, Vinnie Jones (Lock Stock, Snatch, X-Men: The Last Stand) was arrested for his participation in a bar fight at Wiley’s Tavern in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The papers have their stories, but I’d like to believe that Vinnie just wanted to kick some ass. Is that so wrong?

Kanye’s Auto-Tune Diss

On December 4, Kanye was performing in Melbourne when someone in the audience threw something on stage. Instead of losing his cool, Kanye broke into an impromptu Auto-Tune-aided diss. “Eat shit, die,” West chanted, amping the crowd up to join. This is a pretty lame reaction by Kanye (even if the Auto-Tune sounds awesome), but a big noogie to the idiot who paid to see a concert and then threw something on stage.

Boy Goes Batshit at Puppet Show

Puppets are either completely whacked out that they’re funny or have such dead-fucking-stares that they’ll haunt your dreams until you’re elderly and don’t dream anymore. Although we only get a glimpse of the puppet in the above video, it makes it even scarier in our heads to watch the boy’s reaction. By the end, he is literally losing his mind and trying to kill himself with a stool.

I own a puppet named Bobby who is currently in NJ being treated for blow. I don’t care if he never comes back.

Happy Monday, ya’ll. Actually, the wind chill was about zero on my way to the train this morning, so there’s nothing happy about it. Maybe watching this video for “Jizz in My Pants,” by The Lonely Island Guys crew (Andy Samberg, Akiva Scahffer, and Jorma Tacconne) will warm my extremities. This premiered on SNL last Saturday and features Molly Sims, Jamie Lynn Sigler, and Justin Timberlake. We can all relate to this song, even the sistahs.
