It seems that kids would rather play with figures of aliens, spaceships, and droids rather than dead actors and Shia Labeouf. Lucasfilm proudly reports that Star Wars was the highest grossing toy license of 2008, beating out The Dark Knight and their other property, Indiana Jones.
