GalaxyHighSchool_V1

High school suck wampa dong.  There’s no way around it.  Wedgies, ass loads of home work, clique formations, senior harass-a-freshman sessions, proms; it’s the biggest headache you’ve ever had, only it lasts 4 years (for those who manage to graduate, that is).  But what if the opportunity arose where you could dump your crappy day-prison and attend a cooler one…IN OUTER SPACE?!!!! Super jock Doyle and Bookworm Aimee got such an invitation.

Galaxy High School was spawned from the brain of producer/director Chris Columbus (best known for is work on such films as Gremlins 1+2, The Goonies, Mrs. Doubtfire, Home Alone 1+2, and the first two Harry Potter films).  The show followed the adventures of Doyle and Aimee, two students from Earth who have been accepted to a high school for aliens.  Lucky bastards.

Some of the voice talent includes Nancy Cartwright (Bart Simpson), Howard Morris (Cow and Chicken), and Henry Gibson (Laugh-In, The ‘Burbs, The Blues Brothers), with character designs from John Kricfalusi of Ren and Stimpy fame.

From September 13th 1986 through December 6th of the same year, Galaxy High School rocked Saturday monings right after Teen Wolf and before CBS Storybreak.  Another great show cut down before it had a chance to grow.  When will the stupid suits at the networks learn?
