Some Culture

I just finished a John Coltrane bio (I read a WHOLE book!) and thought this eight ton, 9ft x 6ft sculpture done by Bradford Graves as his tribute to Coltrane was pretty amazing. The piece is simply titled Trane and was created in 1968. The rock of the right is Coltrane and on the left is his sax. You can see it in real life on your next trip to the Carpathian Mountains in Czechoslovakia, the jazziest place in the world, duh.
