Mississippi Teens are Number 1! or 50… Depends I guess…

Really? This is really your flag Mississippi?

Really? This is really your flag Mississippi?

According to a recent report by US health officials Mississippi has the highest teen birth rate in the country. Cuming (get it) in second and third were New Mexico and Texas. The states with the lowest teen birth rates were New Hampshire (holla), Vermont and Massachusetts, respectively.

I find this funny because of all shit we hear about family values and morality from conservative parts of the country and how liberal parts are wrong and going to hell and blah, blah, blah. Teen pregnancy is a serious issue. These mothers are less likely to recieve a college education which only compounds the obstacles they’ll be facing. It’s 2009 people, let’s wise up. Stop teaching abstinence and have an honest dialogue about boning down and how sweet it is, but that you need to be safe and only do it with a people you feel comfortable being that intimate with or with someone with whom you have  reached an agreed upon compensation plan prior to engaging is said act(s). Look out Obama, Probot in 2012.

I vacationed in Mississippi for a week over the summer. That might have something to do with this (978-979-3455).

  2. KRISTEN says:

I would also like to add that being a teacher in a high school with an extremely high teen pregnancy rate here in mass (we have a daycare) that the fact that Mass is in the LOWER end of the spectrum is not only frightening but completely disheartening.

  3. Assbot says:

I think those little teen freaks need a lesson in rear-ward thinking…isn’t that where the term Mississippi Mud came from?

  4. the good doctor says:
