Body of Lies to Feature New Guns N Roses Song, Ridley Scott and Axl Finally United

October 1, 2008

Ridley Scott’s new thriller Body of Lies (which had one of the most confusing trailers I’ve ever seen) will debut a song from the decade-in-the-making Chinese Democracy album. From Rolling Stone:

The track features the guitar work of Gn’R guitarist Robin Finck, as well as Buckethead, who left the band in 2004. The song plays during the closing credits of the movie, but it won’t appear on the soundtrack album. It will be the second official release of a Chinese Democracy track, as “Shackler’s Revenge” is included in the new Rock Band 2 game. A source has told Rolling Stone that Guns n’ Roses has reserved a November 25th date for the possible release of the album, which will be a Best Buy exclusive.

When asked to comment, Sir Ridley Scott stated “I’ve been an enormous fan of Buckethead for some time now. (Puffs on cigar). This Guns N’ Roses blokes I’ve never heard of though. Are they poofs?”

When asked to comment, Axl Rose punched a child in the face for asking for his autograph.

Blade Runner 2 will feature a new song from Candlebox.

A Sitcom About Robin? WTF?

October 1, 2008

It looks as if my track record with TV shows that are interesting, continues it’s nose dive off Pluto. Just when Smallville was starting to pique my interest, the mustache twirling Dick Dastardlies feel it’s a capitol idea to make an hour long show about the early days of Dick Grayson. Run to your storm shelters, bolt the door, and huddle with your family in total fear. Who the fuck wants to see a show about Robin before he meets Batman? Nobody, that’s who. Even back on Batman: The Animated Series, Robin was a nothing character. People don’t like him! The gumshoes at had this to say: Read the rest of this entry »
