Today Trekers around the globe celebrate the birth of Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu; a.k.a. George Takei of Star Trek fame. Even though I am more of a Next Generation kind of guy, I have enough intelligence to know how incredible the velvet-voiced Takei is. After all, how could you not love the guy? He came out of the closet back in ’05 and has been making jokes about his gayness on such shows as The Family Guy, Will & Grace, and even the roast of his former Captain.
