The Weinstein Company website now has Fanboys listed for a November 26th release. No wonder we hadn’t been seeing any trailers on TV. More as we hear it, but at least there is an official date listed…again.
From Konsole Kingz:
We started it. And we brought it to a close.
But it wasn’t close. It was like most Super Bowls. All that hype and it ends up a blow out.
Bow Wow was skunked in the 1st quarter. But the Konsole Kingz has a no skunk rule in our showdowns. Jermaine Durpi shows up, but it was too little, too late.
Stay tuned. We will rebroadcast the entire destruction and beatdown very soon!
The Game crushed him. He’s absolutely the undisputed Madden King.
Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire have officially signed on for Spider Man 4 & 5. No word on Dunst.
Sony is taking its time officially hiring the movie’s villain since principal photography doesn’t start on Spider-Man 4 until next fall because of the recently postponed May 2011 release. I am told, however, that “once you find out who the villain is, you’ll know who’s playing it.” That should lead to speculation that Dylan Baker’s character of Dr. Curt Connors will ultimately turn into The Lizard as he did in the comic books. There’s one other character that’s been set up but is a real longshot — Daniel Gillies, who plays John Jameson, the astronaut fiance of Mary Jane in Spider-Man 2. In the comics he becomes the villain Man-Wolf.
Harold Egon Ramis emailed the Chicago Tribune with the following message concerning Ghostbusters III:
yes, columbia is developing a script for GB3 with my year one writing partners, gene stupnitsky and lee eisenberg. judd apatow is co-producing year one and has made several other films for sony, so of course the studio is hoping to tap into some of the same acting talent. aykroyd, ivan reitman and i are consulting at this point, and according to dan, bill murray is willing to be involved on some level. he did record his dialogue for the new ghostbusters video game, as did danny and i, and ernie hudson. the concept is that the old ghostbusters would appear in the film in some mentor capacity. not much else to say at this point. everyone is confident a decent script can be written and i guess we’ll take it from there.
Using sophisticated Viking tracking skills (Myspace), yours truly was able to track down child actress Ashley Bank.
Don’t know who she is? Well you obviously have never seen The Monster Squad. Ashley Bank was none other than Phoebe Crenshaw, younger sister of Sean Crenshaw who started “The Squad”.
Her greatness has agreed (yes AGREED!!!) to be interviewed, and in time you all will be able to hear just what kind of madness she’s been up to.
Until then, re-start your heart, change your pants, and watch as much of The Monster Squad as you can.
